Yes, that's right.... This is a Light Up Hoodie with Rainbow EL Wire running around the zip and hood, plus the hood draw strings are actually built in headphones with an AUX cable in the pocket. Sweet!
Simply pop in your AA batteries (included), plug the AUX into your Phone, and you're set.

This product is epic. The hoodie is made from nice material, it's all black, with big front pockets.
The light up effect is really cool because the 3 different EL wire colours (green/blue/red) give the effect of running water.

Includes Inverter and 2 x AA Batteries.
Material: 35% cotton, 65% polyester

Note: The hoodie cannot be machine washed due to all the electronics. You'll need to either hand-wash it , or just let it air out every once in a while :)

  • 55% were able to sell between 1 and 2 glow sticks per student attending.

Our EL wire comes in a variety of colours and lengths. We also have El Wire Inverters available which power the wire from two AA Batteries. 5m EL Wire requires a 240V inverter.

EL Wire is like a long glow stick that is powered by batteries, through an 'Inverter'.


The inverter is a separate product (get one here), however you will typically need one inverter for each piece of EL wire you want to power. The inverter has multiple modes: slow flash, fast flash and off.


The diameter of the EL wire is 2.3mm

EL Wire requires a power source in order to turn on. If you are wanting to use EL Wire on the go, such as on a costume or in a situation where connecting up a 12V power supply is not easy/feasible, these small Inverters are the perfect solution. The inverter comes with a connector designed to plug straight into our EL Wire.


Please note, all inverters (including ours) make a low volume humming noise. Some people notice it more than others, it depends on your hearing.
