This is commercial quality EL Wire, please be aware that not all EL Wire sold on the internet is of the same quality. If you want a quality EL Wire that is produced for commercial use, then this is it.

Our EL wire comes in a variety of colours and lengths. We also have El Wire Inverters available which power the wire from two AA Batteries. 5m EL Wire requires a 240V inverter.

EL Wire is like a long glow stick that is powered by batteries, through an 'Inverter'.


The inverter is a separate product (get one here), however you will typically need one inverter for each piece of EL wire you want to power. The inverter has multiple modes: slow flash, fast flash and off.


The diameter of the EL wire is 2.3mm

In our survey performed of over 50 Primary Schools, we found the following facts:

  • 55% were able to sell between 1 and 2 glow sticks per student attending.
  • 25% of schools were able to sell over 2 glow sticks per student attending.

EL Wire requires a power source in order to turn on. If you are wanting to use EL Wire on the go, such as on a costume or in a situation where connecting up a 12V power supply is not easy/feasible, these small Inverters are the perfect solution. The inverter comes with a connector designed to plug straight into our EL Wire.


Please note, all inverters (including ours) make a low volume humming noise. Some people notice it more than others, it depends on your hearing.

    Ultra-violet Light On genuine banknotes, the serial numbers fluoresce under UV light. In all banknotes other than $10, there is an area on the back that fluoresces. Look for a serial number, wattle leaves & number ‘5’ on the $5 note; a block with the no. ‘20’ on the $20 note; no. ‘50’ on the $50 note; the no. ‘100’ on the $100 note. The rest should not fluoresce (unless treated/ contaminated with chemicals).

    This is great to light up your cars dashboard, highlight round lights or make your Desktop PC look even better for your next LAN, EL Tail Wire are an awesome product. This type of EL Wire is specifically designed to go with vehicles, PC's and other objects with an additional plastic strip which allows you to push it into creases such as between car headlights and the bodywork. You attach using the plastic strip and that holds the EL Wire in place with a professional finish.

      Finger Lights are comprised of an LED Light, 3 batteries (included) and an elastic band to attach comfortably onto your fingers. One can wear one light on each finger. 

      Duration of the light: You can generally expect around 2 hours with the included batteries. The light produced is incredibly bright (can be used as mini-touches).

      These finger lights come packaged in boxes of 100 (white in colour). 

      How to Use:

      1. Pull the silicone strap over so it forms an oval underneath the fingerlight
      2. Then slip the fingerlight onto your fingers using the silicone strap
      3. Push the slider switch hard forward on the top of the fingerlight - and you're glowing!
